Generous proportions, relaxed wrinkles and a spacious chaise define Norum – the ultimate Family Lounger. A multifunctional sofa with storage that shifts from everyday comfort to a welcoming guest bed

Design by Per Weiss 2026

Norum Chaise with Chunky Arms is designed as the ultimate Family Lounger, combining generous proportions, multifunctionality and exceptional comfort inspired by the relaxed upholstery design of the 1970s. The wide, substantial armrests create a grounded horizontal presence while maintaining a soft, feminine and slightly bohemian character. The upholstery features characteristic soft wrinkles that form an intentional part of the design. These relaxed folds allow the sofa to evolve naturally over time, developing new creases and subtle details that add personality and enhance its authentic expression. The extended chaise invites full-body relaxation, making Norum a natural gathering point for everyday living. Built on the Double Spring Comfort construction, Norum delivers outstanding comfort across all functions. By day it serves as an inviting corner sofa, in the evening it becomes a spacious Family Lounger for shared relaxation, and by night it converts into a comfortable guest bed. A large, sophisticated storage compartment integrated beneath the chaise offers practical space for bedding and blankets, completing a design where comfort, functionality and character work seamlessly together.
